OK, so Flight Boutique is in Park City. I’m still counting it as a great stop if you find yourself in the mood to boutique hop in Salt Lake.
Flight Boutique is on oh-so-charming Main Street in Park City. This gorgeous store is chock full of the newest and hottest trends as well as high-end lines and brands. It’s the perfect place to find an outfit for a special occasion, a statement piece to add to your wardrobe or those perfect pair of jeans. Just look at all the great stuff they stock!
Oh, and did I mention they have a huge sale section upstairs?
So if you’re looking for that amazing piece you just saw on your favorite celeb, check out Flight Boutique. They might just have it.Flight Boutique

Here’s the link to the video from Saturday’s Good Day Utah fashion trend segment on Fox 13. Unfortunately, I can’t embed this video on WordPress, so you’ll just have to follow the link. (Annoying, I know) Fox 13 Fashion Trends Segment video. I thought I’d break down the outfits by store for those who might be interested (in order of appearance in video).
Audrey’s outfit is from Panache, an online boutique based in Salt Lake City.
Next up was Sophie in an outfit from Hip & Humble in the 9th and 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
Jen is wearing an outfit from Flight Boutique in Park City.
Finally, Sarah is wearing clothes from Koo De Ker, also in the 9th and 9th neighborhood.
There are so many great Salt Lake City boutiques, and I had a lot of fun getting to highlight a few of them in this trends segment. As nerve racking as being on live TV was, it was a great experience.
If you’re in the area tomorrow and looking for a fashion fix, you should stop by the Fashion Walk at 9th and 9th. A few of the local clothing stores are previewing summer trends, style consultants will be on hand to answer style questions and, of course, there’ll be time to stop for gelato. I think it’ll be a great even and a perfect start to the weekend.
Hope to see you there!
Living in the south end of the valley, I usually feel like I have to take a trip north to find a fun, local, unique boutique. So I was thrilled when I found Seasons Boutique right in my neighborhood.
What’s funny is I’ve been to this shopping area a lot. Five Guys is there, so, a LOT. But I had never really noticed Seasons Boutique until my little Google search brought me here. And I’m so glad it did. Like many of the other boutiques in the Salt Lake valley, this one was very well merchandised. But while many boutiques can be on the pricey side, all the prices in Seasons Boutique were very reasonable. It’s definitely someplace I could come spend some money without feeling the least bit guilty about it.
What really puts this local store over the top is the fact that they have a full-blown online store affiliated with the boutique, Panache. Sure, plenty of boutiques have a website with at least a few styles on them. But theirs is high quality and easy to navigate.
Needless to say, I’m really happy to have such a cute store nearby.

Salt Lake City boutique Purse Dreams had a House of Harlow trunk show on Friday, giving me the perfect excuse to check out this awesome shop.Purse Dreams in a designer handbag boutique located in the very popular 9th and 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
Sick of having to rely on online stores for on-trend designer handbags, New York-transplant, Jen, opened Purse Dreams last year. Her uber-chic sense of style translated directly in her well-merchandised store, which features top designer brands, like Rebecca Minkoff, Pour la Victoire, Leibeskind and Fourty-Nine Square Miles.
Her beautiful assortment of handbags had me drooling the whole time. Particularly the colorful Rebecca Minkoff bags. And the display of House of Harlow sunglasses got me rethinking my cheap-sunglasses-only rule (I have a bad habit of losing sunglasses). But what I know I need is a good-quality, classic leather handbag. My anniversary is coming up, and I’m thinking something from Purse Dreams would make the perfect gift. Time to start dropping some not-so-subtle hints to my husband.
It’s no secret I love colorblocking. It might possibly my favorite trend right now. (Not that I like to play favorites.) And you can find it everywhere. An easy way to work colorblocking in to a wardrobe and add a little pizzazz to basic outfits is with a colorblock handbag. That’s what I love about the colorblock handbag. You don’t have to change your whole wardrobe or style to take part in this fun trend.
Here’s some colorblocked handbags I’m loving right now.
I really love the Poppie Jones one. It’s just screaming SUMMER! to me.
What’s your favorite? Have a favorite I didn’t list?
I love finding out about local boutiques. Especially those with a sense of humor. I recently heard about SexyModest Boutique and, after watching the hilarious parody video, I was excited to check it out.
I visited the Salt Lake City store and was very impressed by the varitey of styles and options they offered. From bright maxi skirts to classic shirt dresses. Colorful cardigans, floral blouses, colored jeans, bold jewelry and more. And lest you think they only cater to the modestly-inclined, they offer all styles and silhouettes. They just happen to be masters of the art of layering.
What’s great about boutiques is you can find pieces that not everyone else has. What’s even better about SexyModest is nothing in the store is more than $50. So you can have unique style without emptying your wallet. And (AND!) they offer online shopping on their Facebook page with (get this) free shipping all the time.
See this grey dress? This is the piece I couldn’t leave without. It would have haunted my dreams.
I honestly had so much fun visiting this store. And I think you should have some fun, too. SexyModest is sponsoring a giveaway right here! One lucky reader will win their choice of any item from the boutique. Any. Item. You can pick that item from one of their stores or from their Facebook page. So, enough talk. Here’s how to enter:
2. Share their quick video commercial SEXYMODESTBACK on your Facebook wall with some sort of caption.
3. Leave a comment on SexyModest’s Facebook wall mentioning my blog, Rebecca (hearts)…, so they know that you entered this giveaway.
The giveaway ends Wednesday night (April 11th) at midnight. It’ll only take and minute and, trust me, you want to win this giveaway. Good luck!!
Spring in Utah is nothing if not unpredictable. Sunny and 75 degrees one day, cold with snow showers the next. (Check the Utah forecast, you’ll see what I mean) It can make it hard to transition your seasonal wardrobe. Which makes a lightweight jacket an absolute must-have for spring. Problem is, I’ve found myself without one. Now I’m on the lookout for a versatile, lightweight jacket that can be layered over a sweater or a T-shirt, depending on the fickle forecast. And I’ve found several I could happily add to my closet.
I may have to pull out my trench coat from the back of my closet, see if it still fits. I’ve always felt it was a bit too long for me. But who knows, maybe I’ll be able to pull it off.
What’s your go-to Springtime jacket when the weather get unpredictable?
